Prognocis Launch

On Wednesday, October 20th, we will be launching Prognocis – our brand new EHR platform! As of October 20th, you will be able to sign up for our patient portal in the Prognocis platform or book with Telemedica on our website through the booking widget. We are so excited to offer this new streamlined system for our Veteran Clients.

October Newsletter

The 38CFR was recently updated to include a new diagnosable condition. Plantar Fasciitis and Flat Feet are now separate conditions – two conditions that were previously grouped together under the one diagnosis of Plantar Fasciitis.

What does this mean for Telemedica clients?

The good news is that with this separation, our Nexus Team can write a Nexus Letter for both conditions! If you know a Veteran in need of a Nexus Letter for either or both conditions, we are happy to help.

We are excited to announce that we’ve added two new diagnoses to the list of conditions diagnosable through Telemedica. Our Diagnosis Team can now write a diagnosis for Sinusitis and Allergic Rhinitis. We are looking forward to offering even more for our Veteran Clients in the near future!

Quality Providers

All Telemedica providers hold doctoral degrees in psychology from graduate programs accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) or the Psychological Clinical Science Accredited System (PCSAS). Many of Telemedica’s providers have experience working directly with the Veteran community. Telemedica providers understand what the VA is looking for because they have conducted evaluations themselves and will work alongside you to make these connections.

Ongoing Training

All providers go through Telemedica’s onboarding process and continually attend extensive training. Telemedica’s team of providers includes a Quality Assurance group, as well as a doctorate level provider trainer to ensure everyone is up to speed on completing the most comprehensive evaluations.
